I'm working on a little video presentation for the Web Conference at U of T Austin and the next week a workshop for @knowbility AccessU. How wonderful if I actually am here to be there either way I'm so happy to be able to contribute a little something. Book meeting next week.

Thanks all answering my questions regarding the www's best uses ideals and people, interop, rather business, utility, money, AI, and themselves. We are so not on the same web page. I deeply regret we never developed a sustainable and adaptable rubric for education anywhere.

Truly hope they are able to get a reversal because this is shit. It'd be shit here and it would be shit anywhere. This is not the web thank you for reminding us that corporate domination and manipulation is not the passion is that many of us came here for. Good luck always!

That must have been very fascinating. What do you think were the ethical ideals it left you with?

Are we going to save this beautiful gift that we were given freely or are we going to allow this to continue and I mean we because it isn't about those privileged few it's about the whole wide world in our hands.
In a massive blow to competition Apple has managed to shut the CMA's investigation into mobile browsers on a legal technicality. One of the key remedies proposed was forcing Apple to allow rival browsers makers to port their real browsers to iOS. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

We're talking about the World Wide Web which was given freely to the world and sits at the top of a once USA military research project out of the Department of Defense that also was freed from the hands of the US government that is not something that should be about money first.

You just made me laugh because out of context that sounds like you did something to me I love you and sometimes I have chosen violence and regretted it very much myself. Human!

Came across a picture recently of a few of us at that event I'll look for it when I have a chance. I'm pretty sure that's what it was either that or drinking at the bar after another event Perth was low-key and beautiful.

That sounds rather open. Clean. Elegant and minimalistic, declarative code real content. Did we ever have a web like that I can't remember maybe it's just me;-)

I would agree with that the same thing with CSS Frameworks in the early days like from Jonathan Snook we were filling in things we needed and wanted but didn't have yet but it said a president for everyone dancing off to their own rhythm and lack of rhyme reason and logic.

That would be XML served as XML AKA Draconian error handling which serves a great purpose in terms of professional work but leaves out the lay person who just wants to play and that is something that the web encourages. Have fun in the sandbox do real work at the job is my take.

That's a very very important piece of the open web I would say but it is nothing to do with the ideology of the intersection of society and technology for the good not the criminal and net worth crap. and we have not met a single design principle in three decades consistently.
