And you can't see and you can't touch a device consistently or use your voice and make sense of anything and you can't pay enough for the technology that's cool and works there's one thing I can do sit around on the phone and talk to people no thanks never liked it never will

Bert always did awesome work and was a strong promoter of the keeping things clean and is declarative meaningful syntactically and likely semantic but most of what's happening now outside of specific use is just too much and the Cascade is hated who needs it when you have in line

Linguist and language with lexical semantic background and interest in writing and meaning of everything requires understanding all have types, domain specifics before meaning makes meaning. Font is meaningful it's just presentational semantics which is a domain of semantics. SMH
Language linguistics including their subsets are all domain specific the only time semantics makes sense is in the declarative XML world of domain specificity otherwise it's nonsense it's never been defined for web except occasionally HTML5 and erroneously at that.

Goes right to Snowden and what he revealed in 2013 our government is nasty to its own people and always has been not a good feeling especially when in a position where you have a choice to do right by yourself or by the people

It does feel dirty doesn't it and it feels dirtier to know what companies get away with in terms of what we let them take from us in terms of our own privacy and security.

You know that's very interesting and I'd like to know more about that because verification buy two or more steps is one of the most disabling experiences the web never needed. We were supposed to be done with passwords by now!
Many of us have spent careers and cannot lead another Revolution but there are people out there doing it get involved or start one there is no one coming to save us it's up to Humanity at large it always has been the web was not meant for net worth it was meant for Humanity. Us.

Thanks that makes me feel really good and I'm sure thousands of people maybe Millions around the world just as happy there was pushback there was constant pushback and there still is. It requires leadership it requires action it requires participation and education and time.
Much gratitude to all for helping me getting through two chapters and a paper that need off my desk ASAP regarding historical aspects of the web. It was my assistive technology, enabling a career of incredible happiness, friends collaboration which I can barely use anymore.
