Not much to children or women or others who weren't expected to need those skills whether interested or not.

I was tired earlier, so to clarify. I do believe humanity is an amalgam of emotions including rage, anger, love, empathy, hope. Fear has a physical reality for being. I think we haven't learned to relate to old fears in modern situations.

#prescribedHarm ps I'm waiting for 5 hearts. It's a hell of a story, of an awful situation and a lot of hope nonetheless. I normally don't ask to speak (heh, famous for that) but this is very sensitive an issue indeed.

The World Wide Web in the mid 90s was small enough to be communicative in smaller groups. Concerned with Interop, compat, useful, meaningful, international, collaborative, social and technical growth. For us to have standards as people. Can it get better or are we all just stuck?

What's happening to my friends at certain large tech companies is heartbreaking. Often the best, hardest working, decades of experience, just gone. I want to start a revolution, I want to not use their tools, I feel we didn't see this coming during the Web Standards Movement.

I want to talk about 39 year benzo taper success. It is wholly relevant to #prescribedharm and complex care. However, the result is atypical due to my palliative care status. I am wholly aware we need this success. I do want to talk about it. May I? I will be clear as I am able.

I agree Fiona. Except that we can, as patients, use our usually ignored or mocked or overlooked skills and intelligence to change some things around. It may not work in our lifetime, but a win is a win should someone be treated with dignity and as a human not just yet a corpse.

Hey there - anyone else having trouble with log ins that are almost but not entirely suspicious? It could be my joy found recently in the lovely inaccessible impossible awful idea that is multifactor authentication. Or not. What say you?

mollyeholzschlag.bandcamp.co… No cheesecake yet but a lovely present from musician, pal, web guy too. My first pro recorded album of music, "Mysteries Involving Circles and Rings." First of 11 I'll drop this week. THX Greg Jagiello who digitally remastered from an old dusty cassette.

So disturbing. I'm Brooklyn Born Jersey raised living in the Borderlands in Southern Arizona with far more extreme problems with civil rights social justice and ecological disaster often quite on purpose and illegally so. Thank you so much for including DACA in this discussion.

Yes. And in the USA where we have direct-to-consumer advertising m, misinformation, profiteering blaming the patient or asking them the clinical question clinician is meant to advise upon at some point easy to consider the word patient is synonymous with victim.
Yes and true all of what you say within one specific domain of study in a world where half the world's population is online. It doesn't scale is my point and I wasn't articulating myself well because I was passionately arguing which of itself altered my meaning. Fascinating to me
Agreed there are too many people speaking in the world now not but a very small percentage understands the use of a given word in a different context in a specific domain it's a tough problem hence talk about it not ignore it is my thought.

I mean this completely respectfully research the origins of the word Aryan.
My passionate response changed the discourse which is fascinating. how ever do we reach what is now 4 billion people using terms from a single domain and retain lexical semantics? A fair question when we have very little understanding of each other much less specific domains.

You make a provocative point about fear and culture and I like the fact that we don't really know whether our limbic systems are responding to a known and given fear of something or an awareness that threat requires response. That opens up inquiry and discourse potentially.

No but in my vernacular I would describe those interpretations as the results of Brooklyn Born Jersey raised attitude articulations.
I agree and I would suggest that the meaning of a single English word does not scale to half the world's population online we have an opportunity here to refine that with discourse in hopes of course correcting, reducing or avoiding vilification of humans based on language alone.

Unbelievable. Unacceptable. Must be stopped. Medical healthcare so-called professions in this country must be out of politician and corporation profiteers now and be placed in the hands of the citizens.we are the truly fighters for family for homes for each other not elitists.
