Yes very good insights my dear and I also think that there's a shift in power going on that I want to kind of talk about once we get some of the interesting ideas about perspectives and past use of the language lack of clarity and marginalization of care in these fields thank you

Yes there's a movement to get these areas of study and Care out of the darkness in which they fall they are typically not requirements in medical rotations across the world and people use the terms quite inconsistently. I'm very interested in this improving. Hope this clarified!

I am so sorry for the loss of your son and I'm also very comforted to know that as his parents you had support that was valuable for him and for you through that entire process we need more awareness. Such a tragic loss especially when it's your child. Thank you for your answer.

Thanks Angie his answers have been so interesting to me I'm looking forward to speaking more with folks who are interested in the topic in the next few days as we are able to stop as mentioned highly marginalized in medicine across the world in terms of discipline.

Definitely a huge part of the conversation. There's a lot of clarifications going on and it will be interesting to talk about in the next few days I think for those who are interested in the topic. Most issues of death and I are marginalized in medical schools real life.

As in live healthier lives encourage community instead of isolation good nutrition instead of McDonald's everyday or perhaps the complication that in very specific certain situations most of these issues resolve on their own? I'm sorry it's complicated you see I'm a little slow.

Thank you for the work that you do in veterinary medicine, my deep empathy for the years of horror and pain and loss of your wife, as well as your own chronic spinal pain. Thank you also for sharing that which for some is too difficult or "impolite" so freely!

Delight and joy are my response. Yes, quality, not quantity in a truly fair model, and ironically it turns out quality appears to raise quantity. Thanks Phippsy ,and thank your wife as well.

Well when I walked into a so-called therapist office about a month ago there was a nicely placed version on her desk I said I see you enjoy fiction her response was it had been a a gift of the clinic don't you think that's nice? I looked at the postal mark. it was from the FDA.

I'd be fascinated and honored to better know what you mean by "uncommon circumstances." The answer is quite subjective, but is not the experience of being born, living and dying also? :) Thanks for the compelling response!

Thanks Joe! A common way to answer, which ironically has thus far been uncommon on these threads ;-)

Thanks Phippsy for the helpful response :) It's been an eye-opening experience from my point of view as while I was aware of the variations of meaning, I didn't realize just how much!
