I'm debating. Discourse. It's not argument. I gave a reference, I read the one given, I get blocked. That is exclusion. What did anyone learn or expand from that beyond more anger. WE are not taught truth. It's not a personal attack on anyone, but one on historical assimilation.

"Ignorance. yes, I have no idea why you're upset and trying to drag other things into some wild dispute, and the solution is for us to not be able to view one another's posts. Bye." And I'm blocked for passionate discourse. THAT IS EXCLUSION!

There is nothing more exclusionary than defining another human through sense perception or 230,000 or so years of human migratory patterns, forensic anthropology, belief, practice, or what we deem visual other than the terrible racial separatism determined by separatists.
The upset of the use of Jew is not understood? Go look up the definition. Does it define Jew? And if so, to whom. I went and read the argument I'm attempting to learn. I got blocked why? What defines me as a Jew? A woman? An antizionist, a "Self hating Jew" We're not taught why.

Because no one is taught truth, it's ignorance not of fault of individuals but intentional (often) assimilation.

Ignorance. You are telling me what I am. YOu don't know what I am.

FACT: I am hated more by certain groups of Jews who consider me filthy and disgusting. So YMMV.

I take it personally because it is NOT A METAPHOR.

Yes, I made it up all by myself. And you are judging me by what now?

When you can explain why anti-semitic and antisemitic are also under scrutiny, we'll talk.

But a Jew is always a Jew. Nationalist, zionist, white, from Israel, religious, and suffered in eastern europe? That's pretty damned exclusionary to me.

I’d rather choose as my community the people who have been targeted in this way than those who demand the prerogative to perpetuate the usage. Plus — it costs be absolutely nothing. Nowt.

There aren't any black Jews then? Or Iranian ones, or Sephardim, Mizrahi because we're all the same in every thought, origin, language, deed, cultural reference? Why don't we just all stop talking altogether, and abolish writing.

That's called human history. It's gone on in almost every instance of modern humans. Us v. Them.

SO anti pattern is better?
2
Anti-pattern is less offensive than anti-semitic then? (Semite refers to languages, not melanin conentrations in the skin).
1
So like the Nazi skew on the Sanskrit origin word Aryan then?

Truly honest question as I'm ignorant here. Please help me understand how "dark patterns" is racist? And remember, I've been asked why my horns don't show for nearly 60 years, so I'm really wanting to understand, not cause upset or argument. At all. xo
2023 is a great time to start using “anti-patterns” for IX that is used without intent and “deceptive patterns” for those patterns that are made with intent. Let’s throw out the monolithic term “dark patterns” and get in tune with inclusive terms that do not have racist (1/2)

I have and have used it once. Old dog, decentralized tricks? ;-)
Today marks 25 years since the beginning of the Web Standards Project! Happy birthday, and I miss those days. I felt connected, relevant, happier, alive. Common purpose, wonderful people, and a lot of F2F together, which is the hardest part for me now. I get all emo! xo/m

I have. And I can't keep up with my own demise so why add social platforms to the slide?
