I MISS OG TWITTER! Especially for the webdev communities. I'm a union child. Labor rights. Hate posting knowing what a shit show it's been. I declare non-violent revolt! Who is with me?

Thanks lovely! It's not over and it's deep n' wide. If you have not yet done so, check out the work @stevenpemberton and friends are doing with Declarative Amsterdam, dear Tomomi (HiHiHi) with the Dutch-based @DeclarativeAms1 - really some compelling work with that there XML ;-)
Some people are kind, it was to me to be ignored completely by people that were my closest friends who failed to say hello back. I'd rather you tell me why I suck than just let me die thinking your silence = misinformation, judgement or worse. Last chance. You know who you are.

From the GMTA book of friendship, I was JUST thinking about you too. I was referred to in a social group online as passionate but pessimistic. Not realistic when I laid out my thoughts on human lack of rising up. I believe you would have "gotten" my references. WHat is with that?

Study suggesting schizophrenia remains highly stigmatized in Germany. I believe until the unify the mind and body imaginary split and man-made problem we will be closer to wider acceptance that split splits attitudes. madinamerica.com/2022/12/sti…

This post requesting research on user experiences with forms resulting in rushed behaviors pushed me over the edge into outright rage due to interface design issues especially with forms and phones. Eventually mine all wind up in toilets, bottom of pools, thrown against the wall.
Hello. Any of you lovely people aware of research papers that might look at 'implied urgency of online forms' or 'security timeouts generating rushing behaviours'?

An interesting but probably difficult to find research topic indeed. One researcher in accessibility in the digital world would be Allen Foley, however I have no idea if he covers anything related to online forms and security timeouts causing pressured behaviors. Or worse: rage.

I couldn't agree more. It's an uphill battle in a nation that has the audacity to invent medications for very sick, very rare disorders and charge 3.5 million dollars a dose for the salvation. Sick, harmful, ALL of it, and utterly a disgrace of a massive human issue with greed.

That is quite simply *awesome* (and sad)
Thank you Nick, you are a wonderful comfort in very selfish times. I get bitter and then remember I promised myself I wouldn't get bitter. It's a constant argument in my head. Oy! :)

It's such a slippery topic, as I hate the idea that I'm metaphorically crossing a strike line in the wake of employee abuses, firings, and general mayhem at the expense of our web profession much less any measure of ethics. It disturbs me, but hanging in for community first xo/m

I'm still blowing the accessibility horn just less widespread and front-and-center as before my own issues took me out of the work hard / play hard game. But I'm here, I'm working on my 36th book, the topic is Accessibility, and I am happier giving than taking so how may I help?

Steven, it has been indelibly inked on my being and fresh ink every year since the dawn of our Web. LOL! And thanks for the correction, as other people might need it. ;-)
