It's become a lot of noise and not much signal anyway. Not what was really envisioned but what is these days anyway? At least in Tech!

Do you truly know all your passwords? I could never keep up and I hate passwords and I wish they were gone and I hate to factor authentication and I understand it's a bit of a necessary evil that I wish we had done a better job at figuring out how to kill off passwords completely

I've heard that before LOL I was very funny I'd forgotten that! Now it's yet another JavaScript framework YAJ F I've separated the F with a space so people can adjust that word to their own liking. I'm sure people can already guess what mine is!

I really wonder sometimes if we should not just separate mobile app development from web sites and approach them differently it wasn't the original idea we wanted separation in the front end stack we wanted lean code and clean code and people to know the code not no code. Lol

Former HTML and xhtml working group chair @stevenpemberton called the mashup of what was going on with so-called HTML5 a 'monolithic lump' . It's more than a lump now... it's spread throughout the web like a cancer and we haven't found a cure. adding more crap is not helping!

Another difficulty is the proliferation of JavaScript Frameworks libraries no code low code easy entry with way too much generated code to the browser which of course is almost all chromium core now and that is not a good situation we need some kind of disruption.

I have only three chapters I've run into such a problem with the code chapters because to get to accessibility you really need to have good semantic markup and I mean really semantic like not just a side or section or figure or button. Those are okay but it's application Centric.

CSS drop-down menus no JavaScript required. Early work of Eric Meyer in fact. It was a great time of real exploration. Now it just seems like proliferation is more important Gee let's make yet another framework. why? I mean really why?

Maybe we should just say apis have come a long way. Why are we building software? That wasn't the plan! It drives me nuts I'm old school I get why mobile apps but I don't understand native apps for websites that function perfectly well without me having to download another fn app

Women are verified far less than the men. I don't know if that's why but it is also a fact that Wikipedia suffers this issue as well. It's disturbing because women were originally a force in computer science. Few women on stage or public in my generation much less ethnic ones.

I do come from a long line of very complicated people. My mother was a brilliant, very accomplished woman and the most brilliant person I have ever known. Also, a diagnosed narcissist. Dr. Philippa Kafka. Franz Kafka is a 4th cousin removed from me. Explains an awful lot!

We have to make accessibility a first entry point. My premise of redefining it is about exactly that is taking it out of an issue that the stakeholders have to talk about it all and making it a different concept than just about people with disabilities it's so much more.

A lot of PDFs I'll have to figure out a way but I will share them some of them are really funny in retrospect.

NN was a pain in the ass too. It then became a worse pain in the ass. It's last version of seven was a joke.

Has it? I don't think hypertext markup language is what we have now at all.
