Technology Wars have existed for as long as technology. During that terrible error, erm, era of i6 nonsense we actually did work in a Microsoft war room. Combative communication and tech extremism is not enjoyable but it seems pervasive.

You two together? I'm sure there was some hella good after-hour parties. I had no idea that this happened during my time out of the loop. I can see you being great friends and I'm glad you got to work together.

Are you just on a wonderfully delicious commentary for the festivities of today or are you live-tweeting someone else's work or are you doing a presentation from your living room because I love it. I'm not surprised but I am delighted to see adaptation in our thinking.

That is a great point I'm making it in my current book and presented it in Austin at #accessu last week. Dr. Robert sapolsky at Stanford is a neuroscientist neuroendocrinologist neurosurgeon and primatologist who has pointed out primates operate on an us-versus- them methodology.
That's impressive Derek I did not know about this wine. Wine was made obsolete in my DTD in 2013. Too bad because it would have been fun to make a wine label in CSS with a media type for Braille printing. Yes I have gotten really snarky about current affairs in markup and style.

Odd historical markup trivia: figure was actually an early markup element that preceded img. I still cannot accept the idea of using bothand an ALT attribute and a caption? That's an #a11y problem at times for certain cognitive conditions. Yet I've never heard anyone address it.
Ian is a very bad boy sometimes naughty naughty naughty I thought he was the dad with the funny face I think it's his kids that make funny faces at him;-)

I thought that had been figured out in HTML5. Perhaps you require a caption which would results in a longer desk.
That is tragic and I am worried for you then because I have visited your lovely nation and found it beautiful and very watery compared to the desert. I hope citizens push as hard as they can before things get worse. This is an issue that can result in millions of lives lost.
Well that would explain why I don't know anything about them because I'm in a state where we have almost no water remaining at all and I mean that literally. Droughts wind and wildfires have not been our friends out here in Us West.

Chalk streams, that is. I don't even know if they are and I don't feel like I'm going to search for them and you need to tell me unless you are now earwormed as well!;-)

I enjoy them from right out of the gate I did not know that there was such a thing as dwindling British

That's very kind I feel the same of you my dear. Austin was emotional and wonderful of course. It was my first public appearance in nearly a decade and was filled with enormous positivity, great information and wonderful people all of which which I blame completely on Sharron 😜

Mina that's very interesting. How much taller on average do you find people think you actually are? Our perceptions of image versus reality have always been skewed toward our own sense processing but it is intriguing. Pretty sure misperceptions about me include everything! LOL!

I was only attempting to one up your achievements at making salty droplets appear out of my eyes and running down my face. So you know it was just a competitive move.😛

I infinitely support this idea in fact I started doing it yesterday and I don't think I'm going to stop until we see some cohesive agreements and get rid of false claims from companies who don't do the job much less understand it.#GAAD2022
Hey! That thing you did for #GAAD? Do it again tomorrow. And the next day. And the day after that. Keep it going. And then congratulations! You now have a fledgling accessibility practice at your org.

It's a great move with broader scope and influence. That you ended up working on edge is ironic in a way considering all we went through with browsers. I'm concerned that people coming to web dev in a near rendering monoculture are not made aware of or care about this. Congrats!

HA! Victor this is a coffee through my nose moment. So witty and oh so true. And shows true universality to the 100% is not a probability much less a sustainable one! I confess my own laziness writing descriptive text for images. Any ideas on what we could do to improve this?

Someone needs to write a book called “in search for a perfect alt text”. The book will mostly consist of blank pages! :)
