I hope you have people that will come and visit and support you if you do have to go in it's a very awful feeling to not have anyone there as I know and I hope you never have to know but I suspect that's probably something all too common for everyone who ends up in that situation

One of the most disabled people I ever met had no visible or known legal barriers to entry into the world but felt compelled to ask me why on Earth I had married a man in a wheelchair. If not recognizing love no matter what isn't a disability I really don't know what is. #a11y

I completely normal looking person is at a bus stop crying their eyes out. Someone passes by muttering under their breath must be off his meds. Instead asking May well be the exact moments the questionnaire is transformed by an actual truth instead of their judgmental assumption.

How can anyone external to us understand our internal messaging. There is a visceral response when humans are confronted with something they know might be dangerous or haven't had the experience of real illness or disability please! pacing is so wise!
