What I love so much about roam is it's written in clear language, very straightforward as well as Progressive, in step with the vision of the web specifically but written for the internet itself so it applies to both quite beautifully. Please spread this info around if you can!

Hey Jens have you given it a good read it's really really good and I'm just kind of kicking myself and wondering why nobody's been talking about this and why I didn't talk about it. Distractions pandemics whatever who knows but I'm glad we're talking about it now!

Naming of web browsers caused a bad thing during the browser Wars. I don't even want to step in that pile of poo. Browser companies AR stubborn in terms of so-called leadership. Browser Wars and Technology fights are bloody I don't like them I do not like a culture of conflict
I feel you on that one LOL got nothing. I'm getting really frustrated I want our web back somebody co-opted it and I know exactly who they are. Well they can take their Frameworks and shove them where the sun don't shine no. I want my web of data and documents back not apps.

Pretty cool huh? I can't believe that nobody I know or follow anywhere actually talks about it. This is UNESCO I mean people can think what they want of the United Nations but this is about the human education, social empowerment and opportunity for change

A sub-cult. Fascinating but strange for a semanticist to think about. The web is evolutionary yet we are devolving. A lot of decisions that were made regarding HTML5 which really is not markup that were passive and should have not been
I'm sure that question is for Pamela because I never fell in love with JavaScript and I never got good at it like I said we had a okay relationship at best LOL I am old-school declarative web I want it back JavaScript and Frameworks are especially deadly to the open web

Nobody seems to give a damn. Arizona has been a violent racist deadly nasty not because of Mexicans blacks Natives and Jews. In college we had a bar called The Stonewall a brutal murder against a young gay man and no one remembers 50000 Japanese were interred here in World War II

An unfortunate truth I feel I'm coming to learn that maybe just a little dawn of wisdom setting in at my age and that is no one's going to come to help we have to help each other we have to help ourselves

PS I just flashed back to the RDF / RSS kerfuffle. Certainly since physicists were the reason the web was born there must be an atom somewhere...馃槉

When you deal with real accessibility problems the way we're working now is a zero-sum game. Hope you are well my friend!

In my axe is career anybody who wrote books, gave classes, workshops and Keynotes were never encouraged and specifically discouraged to teach language much less process or quality assurance. What they wanted to sell was technique, SEO, Frameworks polyfills and no CSS
The answer for me is one of three things. 1. The absolute clear simple truth. 2. I don't yet know the clear simple truth. 3. It's private I don't wish to talk about it now thank you

I start with content . Then HTML, CSS, possibly some SVG and only necessary and needed JavaScript. I do not touch Frameworks nor do I rely on layers and layers of apis because they obfuscate content purposely
