Not terrible at all! I wish more people would be creative with words on Twitter as opposed to hateful and cruel and obnoxious
LOL that's really funny Bri ibecause that was a poetic sentence indeed,
Some actions are not Choice some actions are Instinct and come from the limbic system as a fight flight or freezer spots which is not really an emotionally or intellectually controllable urge. Otherwise I mostly agree. The field of ethology is interesting the biology of behavior
That's a very interesting point endocrine system definitely does matter. There are conditions such as polycystic ovarian syndrome that raise testosterone dhea-sulfate and so forth and medicine has long looked at this as a cause of aggression in women. My take fuck that ;-)
So beautifully said and yet so difficult 4 people who are out loud personalities. My mother often said if you speak truth to power speak in public at cetera get on a stage somebody's going to throw shit at you 🤣
I'm not surprised to see the research is showing this to be true. It is mostly belief system cultural environments the way you grow up what you're taught that really defines how people act. I'm a feminine woman with a very aggressive personality so people tell me I act like a man
This is not a leader, but a criminal. Mark Kelly is a decent man maybe not as proactive as he could be but look at my freaking State he's the last true Democratic senator left in Arizona, an astronaut, husband of Gabby Giffords. Who was shot in the head. tucsonsentinel.com/local/rep…

Healthcare conventions are soul-crushing. Suggestions: 1. Stop predicting death dates in very ill patients unless asked 2. Start doing physical exams again, please! 3. Accept the mind/body "problem" is man-made aand harmful 4. Avoid absolute statements "this will never improve"

Immeasurable. And I have never been encouraged by any client, publisher or conference to teach anything but technique. No rubric, no curriculum, no consistent learniing helps.

This photo shared by dear @estherschindler (thx!) has a long, bloody story behind it. My red blouse was an appropriate choice. The browser wars are not wrongly named. It was brutal, and we all failed in the end to rebuild a multi-engine browser ...anywhere, and has not helped us.
Surely I'm not the only (ex)journalist who has lots of photos from old tech events? Like this one from 2004 from a Microsoft event, with @mholzschlag

It seems very few nations are free of these so-called leaders. I saw the race issues in Australia my first visit and it was an unknown to me as how bad things were getting. Canada now, mercy. We are already deep into a world war, no one is brave (or foolish?) enough to name it.
Yeah, I get that. Expectations unmet cause suffering, but so does lack of hope. Never have found a balance with that.
I hope at some point your parents will become more aware and recognize that love for a child as you are for who you are is far more logical than wanting you to be what they imagine they want you to be. Despite real crazy violence and abuse my parents did have incredible ethics.
That says more about them than you. My mother adored my brother's life partner. As do I. My mom had one issue and that was other people kept telling her it was her fault she had a gay son because she failed to provide a proper father figure. She hated that for good reason.
And that doesn't even touch on the prejudice and conspiracy theories. Jews have money Jews rule the world Jews have horns. I once had a woman say to my mother oh what a pretty little girl I guess her horns don't come in until later. My Judaism is about genetics and culture.
Most descriptions are very demeaning in some way. I think that's my problem really that I find it insulting especially because people assume before they know. As a Jew that brings up so many assumptions. That I'm religious I'm not. Israeli in origin. I'm not. Zionist oh so not.
I suppose it depends upon how you grew up and where I have known that word for a very long time. My mother had affairs with women and my father did it too but more covertly. One brother has been out and proud for most of his life. He and life partner identify as bears.
Many identifiers have no direct relationship to what they're supposed to identify. War and acts of Terror often are based in identifiers. Religion is a good example as it has killed more people and the judgments and morality issues have caused such acts of violence and hate.
Personally I find identifiers of humans one of the most dangerous things we do. Race identity ethnicity class religion all factor into some of the world's worst words and events ever. And I don't know how to identify other than by Molly. Gender-wise my identity is nonspecific.
