Work in progress, but definitely better, yay! xo
My hope is you will never feel made less by anyone. That behavior is abusive and soul crushing, especially to caring, empathetic, sensitive people. Success to me is more about quality of character, genuine self, ownership of our wrongdoings over blaming anyone/thing we did.
My mother gave me that lesson and I took it to heart. Power is not measured by class or wealth or gender identity or race or any of those things. That I was equal to anyone and not better or worse based on bias. She was extremely perceptive in this regard.
That happens to me to my friends have to say that one is into you. My husband was very soft-spoken and did not say a lot but he was direct and clear so there was no gameplay. My brain just doesn't work that way. It's kind of cute really.
I said I'd be happy to explain to him and the 100 students in his lecture exactly what made me late but it might be upsetting even to a biologist. The entire room went silent and from that day forward I was his favorite student. He told me no one had ever challenged him back.
I have an interesting story about a professor who if you came into his lectures late would dress his students down brutally he was very mean. I came into class late one time and he started in and out of my mouth came fuck you you have no idea why I was late. I'm happy to tell you
I relate to that because of a weird social quirk even when I know somebody's lying to me I don't believe it and I see the best. I also don't read intimate signals well, have no vanity, no jealousy, Fierce Independence, lack of fear, and told I confuse people cuz I'm genuine.
I have no sense of hierarchy or importance of humans as one over another ever. This has both been an advantage and a problem but I really don't see myself that way if anything I have had to battle self-hatred and no self-esteem.
Okay now This concerns me...I feel unqualified... that statement is so strange to me I am just another human being like everybody else. I love stories of lives and hearing opinions and thoughts not my own because that opens Avenues of I would not find on my own.
Okay that's very interesting and sometimes the celebrities will address people they don't know. I have a funny story about Cory Booker the senator from New Jersey who went on a rant when I made a joke about Newark when he was still mayor I grew up next to it. My joke was legit!
I have to laugh every time I see articles about emotional intelligence, Leadership, Learning empathy and success tips from Psychopathic white-collar criminals, narcissistic personalities, and tyrants. Who don't have empathy in the first place and can only be taught to fake it.

Exactly this is why I always say us medicine is just charts checklist clipboards and morality judgment. Honestly how can one ever use a scale of 1 to 10 to describe pain? I've joked before I always answer it goes to 11. Some people get the joke. Most do not.

Well I understand the general meaning because of the prefix Para but do not understand how people apply it or why can you give me some context?

LOL I remember the term Yuppie flu how insulting. Fact every single patient in my c f s support group from the 80s are all dead but me and their friends or spouses. Cancer, blood disease, infectious hepatitis such as b c and d as well as other infections and like me rare disease.

That diagnosis led to such problems that the entire Loop between liver bone marrow spleen gallbladder got completely missed. I've even had a hemorrhagic ovarian cyst that the ER doc was going to send me home as gas. I demanded My Obgyn me in emergency surgery within half an hour.

You're diagnosed with myalgic encephalomyelitis? They told me I had CFS which was the u.s. equivalent and you're probably just depressed. I really hope that you got tested for all kinds of parasitic, fungal and viral diseases, brain injury or problems with bleeding. Thyroid Etc.

The true fun of Yiddish is the use of metaphor as pun. For example the phrase a tuchus aufum tisch translate literally to put your ass on the table. The meaning however is tell the truth. Yiddish curses are especially funny.

I have to laugh at that regarding the accents I made a quip to a friend recently that English actors can do Americans so well but Americans really suck at playing English characters. So funny.

I'm sorry you've experienced that at all it shouldn't happen. The Hippocratic Oath is not first Do no harm that is the Latin version that came later. It is if you cannot help a patient's you do not do anything that will worsen their condition. The oath is optional not required.

Just try and tell that to any conventional medical personnel and they will tell you you're full of crap. That would mean the nimh, the NIH, Jama, Harvard Medical, and FDA federal oversight are all full of crap. What they get away with is shameful. Dangerous. Sexist. Racist. Awful
