"If Tim Berners-Lee is the inventor of the World Wide Web, [than] Molly Holzschlag is its Fairy Godmother." This quote spread but is not accurate imo. TTo my memory, and please, help out, was said to me by @kplawver and only included me as Fairy Godmother. #Misinforation

I really hope that whether joke or belief, these inaccuracies should be corrected. History is forgotten and repeated as we see escalating now. Let's not encourage it. Ready, here we go! #WrongQuotes #NotMolly #Correction #Please

As I explore career and life work with the Web, one oddiity I have run across involves extreme misinformation. Sometimes it's clickbait, but I found a few slides I believe might have been well-intended to help in 2013 to raise funds for my immuno and blood meds. So I won't link

I'm trying to guestimate the year. Porter and I had just published our book on Movable Type. We had a party later at Tantek's up the street. Sweet memory!

Yeah, and I laugh. They are powerful? Rich? NET WORTH? we're a species of awful. I got awful and it is exhausting. I will never give in to greed. I have simple enoughness. What hurts is human loves dead, and some anger at how easily I believe lies or don't see the bad at all! xo

Depends. I never want to work in code and QA and testing again beyond learning. Technical #a11y is not the only option. Advocacy, changemaking, social meaning, and for me, no access means no Web. Accessibiliy First. Not under UX, not tacked on. It is the Web. no access, no web.

Wait til you see some others. We were not that that young then ;-) ok, maybe i'm kidding myself, but if not for my neck, and shrinking human syndrome, I look only 45, and I just hit 59. indulge me! ;-) xo

Think @adactio took this pic. HTML5 thinktank, London, South of Thames. Seated LTR, me, @LeonieWatson, Dean Edwards, @rossbruniges, Remy behind I believe and @bruceL - is our reclusive Dean ok? He was already.scripting HTML5-NOW with markup/css I did. Weird and so prehistoric! :)

Ha! Whole new crazy underway, 2008. Held the same week as the WebApp Summit via @jmspool (hence Cindi). WG meeting was a bit outside San Diego, some chipped in for a day of sailing. Anne and I had an extra day, so we went to Seaworld. So fun. W3C notes: w3.org/blog/CSS/2008/04/04/r…

A specific spec but yes, you nailed it Brad. I cannot remember who/how inspired this little bit o' fun, but I'm so glad it's captured forever as a witty, spontaneous, unique combo of people :)
