Oh Tom oh, you flatter me, that glow is nothing to do with my brilliance intellectually rather the color of my being from growing up Port Elizabeth, favorite frequent client US DOE, my irradiated platelet needs. But suffering fools? Mostly myself. Let's reschedule chat please?

Or read the story of how it came to be. Well now she has and we made peace. It's not just about me it's about all the people who are unsung I was just loud. Okay I did work hard and I did do good work most of the time but really it was my freedom and Independence to speak my mind
Dave's growing project what it could look like in a book and we had a contract and started a book and we wrote the book. It was a best-seller because it was on CSS not because it was about the gender or any identity there of who wrote it or who designed it or who published it. 👀

Conference for technology mostly with lots of Legends and names you know around. The voices that matter imprint from new riders and Peach Pit press, Nancy Aldrich Ruenzell, Publisher spotted me and asked me to have a seat and whether I had any ideas. So we began talking about

In the same outbound aircraft after which we were going to switch me to Arizona him to the great white North. We began to chat a little more about the possibility of a collaborative effort and it started getting interesting for both of us. I was about to go to Waterside a book

A few weeks or months later we met at South by Southwest and he wanted to talk about book writing with me which is fine I was happy to do so with the intent of helping him realize a book about his project or whatever he wanted to write about. We end up leaving South by Southwest

So I write a nice email thanking him for the very kind words and he must have picked up on the fact that I didn't figure out he was that guy. So I got an email back going by the way I'm the dude is doing the CSS zen garden and in that moment teacher became student I was humbled.

From a guy named Dave who said I read your book and I am now committed to becoming a web designer and I'm really interested and I've been studying and doing my work and thank you for that opportunity. The Zen site was just starting to get attention I didn't make the connection.

So far as my memory goes he found my book and thought to himself hey I like this kind of thing I could do this I could become a web designer. And so he did. Well I've written a few books at this point and received emails regularly from people named Dave. I got a nice email

However the two books I wrote in her series we're not under her editorial Direction they were a brand because she had had the first best-selling book on HTML as I mentioned. This book happened to be the first four color book on web design and grabbed Dave's attention in the store

Dave lived in Vancouver BC and had just graduated school was looking for something to do with his design skills scouring bookstores when he came across my second book under Laura Lemay series which I hadn't worked with her at that point but came to really like and admire her.

Any suggestion to me the Dave Shea would have purposely created the CSS zen garden Just For Men is so ludicrous. He just opened it the project up to the public and whoever did the job well enough and correctly according to guidelines got in. Moreover there's a legit history here.

Well I'd have more compassion if one of my brother's the one who owes close to that. He likes Academia but he aimlessly changes jobs instead of sticking to 3 or 5 at a time like me and my other brother. I owed $18,000 total paid off immediately as I was working the whole time.

Sobriety not in play was not in reference to my sobriety or the other professionals to Priority it was the person who leaked the information that was so disparaging monetarily. They're not supposed to do that it's just not cool in any situation and not legal in some!

Oh you know it's not a hate thing it's a love thing but I can't help the sarcasm I just can't. And in a way I'm glad it gives me a little bit of comfort knowing I took money from people when I was sick that other people would have learned how little I actually made LOL

Should I have been horrified? Especially when I got sick and lost all life savings and had to crowdsource to survive longer with very serious disease? Not really. I have a philosophy. Passion, money or time? Guess who got invited back and who didn't time and again?

This is a fact and I won't name names because I respect my colleagues. I was at a conference where I did a keynote completely 4 organization I made $500 for 50 minutes where man made $10,000 for the same 50 minutes for the same talk given 7 years running. Sobriety was not in play
