I was five years old when I came to my first political awareness I was watching Israel rain bombs on Jordan Syria and Lebanon in the 1968 Six Day War. I got very upset my five-year- old self thought Israel was a Haven for all and we kids raised money to plant trees. Heart broken.

I joined Jewish voices for peace many years ago and I think we need to step up our game when it comes to conversations that are open between any Nation or belief system. More than Interfaith. I think we need to redefine human, kind.
Yes in fact often they are Jewish. Socialist is a euphemism where I grew up in New York for being a Jew. As it turns out my mom was a socialist. But I am worried we have a new McCarthyism upon us
I am so sorry. I lost Mi Rey in February of 2017 and I think it broke the second to last remaining piece of my brain and then my mother passed a few months later. It may be too early to hear but I implore you not to listen to other people about how long or how to grieve. Peace ❤️

That doesn't change his rotten attitude unfortunately. I imagine he was very shaken up but still what he tweeted was nightmarish. IATSE has played a huge role in the lives of many of my friends from theater days in high school and college. My BF was local leader here in Tucson.

That's a really great idea. I've often thought of posting a come by and talk chat although not for the purposes of work at this point but for General support and work questions. I like the model as this puts a filter on who comes to you which may improve the quality of offer!

I just flashed back to the scene in Blazing Saddles where the native American speech was actually all Yiddish. Blazing Saddles would probably come in second and then I like silent movie a great deal but again I'd be happy with any of them and it's fun to go back and watch now

What Mel Brooks work is not worthy of worship? I don't think there is one. It occurred to me that most of the people he worked with were stage actors and that also played into the quality of what they did in film. But I do have a real soft spot for Young Frankenstein

I can't speak for Phoenix but here in Tucson there are certain branches of USPS that are open but with our current postmaster who knows. Suggest looking into UPS store or something like that they often have the boxes available 24/7
