writing alt text is boring and after a long time of doing it I do lack creativity! And I do not want full on creative alt text all the time either! :)
My main gripe is this conversation has been going on for way too long. Why, I respectfully ask, is this such an issue these days?

Dear @Wikipedia I've asked many times to no real help. I have actual bio additions with ref's galore and I'd like them added asap as my health is in decline. I would in fact like my bio to be more comprehensive than the lightweight content there. Please accomodate my ask ty #a11y

Hahaha I think Alt text just is so freaking boring and to add more show called semantics like caption and figure just make the whole text thing that much more of a trigger. Not exactly wrong if we're publishing content as content and not decorative imagery AKA CSS

I agree and that's the point this is distributed languages in a stock that was meant to be open. It was meant to evolve into a truly meaningful useful informative and accessible medium and now all it is is push technology

HTML was never meant to be functional rather to evolve as a markup language used in tandem as the semantic piece of an openstack distributed system. That is not a framework that is not JavaScript that is not HTML that is not the web as it was meant to be.

We have to speak of HTML as a construct of nearly 30 years now. It is not what it was meant to be neither is it the web. We are building applications.

I am an educator and advocate more than a coder and I believe that we need to understand far more about cognitive bias, separatism, benevolent ableism. Accessibility for the web has been made last when it must be first. How do you access the web if you don't have access?
