I'm sure there's literature and I will definitely be digging around for it but the overlap reveals how devs are often both logical and creative. Math and music overlap. I think the coexistence may be exemplifying hybrid thinkers, 'whole brain' use over single lobe strength.

I'm dropping an accordion and a banjo off the top of the stratosphere. Which hits first?

True. Very true. I still appreciate seeing how others manage to become better at, well, everything.

Interesting Schwab was on that. I did some work with Fidelity. They were also very aware of where to find the best tech people. First company in my experience to hone in on security concerns with HTML5 APIs, browser storage, etc. Stuff we still don't address. In 2010 no less!

I'm kind of in awe with the way you've dealt with such changes, under pressure with the house. I lost my way undergoing a lot of that and it helps to see how others manage big change better than I.

It works out for the best. The humor, music and straight up way of being combo is the triad I prefer.

How many coders, devs, programmmers, IT peeps, technical design folks are also musicians and/or seriously in pursuit of music lifelong? Curious to know as for more than 30 years in tech I see a lot of crossover.

Were you two following each other all along? What did me and my big mouth get into? 🤔😉

Read this and Mexican Coca-Cola right through the nose. For the obvious reasons as well as the utter nonsense humanity tells itself regarding how to express dates and time. 😂 Well played.

Completely unique take on it so it won't mess it up for you I promise. I mean how witty to interpret a System of a Down song into Bluegrass.

Me too. I didn't know they were Canadian when I first heard them and then when I did I just lost it laughing while finding incredible respect for what they're doing. So clever and talented!

Thanks Robert. We must talk more about evolving Tech empowering humanity especially in relation to augmented reality, VR, AI, Automation and with #web3. "As blind honor Apple accessibility pioneer my son shows far more work is ahead" scobleizer.blog/2022/03/28/a… via @scobleizer

For a bit of musical humor and light to offset the dark of this crazy not at all brave new world, I love this band. Check out their cover of System of a Down chop Suey. Hilarious and brilliant. Enjoy! bluegrasstoday.com/bluegrass…

No I disagree we can't ignore reality and this is reality so what we do is we open up the conversation and figure out how to fix the problems we know exist before we move on to the problems we can't fix or make it worse. Learn from our mistakes. For once in human history? Please?

My pleasure. That was a great thread, easy to follow and so sensible. And a surprise? Is it a metaverse delivery of a New York slice 🍕? 😂 Yes, please!

It happens. I'm not focusing on coding or development of any kind professionally myself rather have gone pretty meta about it all at this point with over 30 years in IT. I think we need to switch it up sometimes whether by interest or need.

I appreciate that and it's great that your friend shared it should be shared. If user style had been shared a lot we'd probably have better adoption of them and understanding of their place in the Cascade.

Nina I'm not sure it should be mainstream. To be unconventional to speak uniquely and freely to do what we must do as individuals? That is what makes for a truly diverse world. 😊
