Well, I see a lot of failure in myself. I have very deep regrets and intellectually perhaps I know better but emotionally I don't understand it because I was always the one who had it together. I don't have anything together everything has fallen apart or died or gone to war.

Thank you. It feels lonely. I never had trouble being alone. I entertain myself. but this is something different this is the disintegration of everything I knew from family and groups of friends who are now mostly dead and it's just heartbreaking for all of us that go through it.
Happy birthday to the memory of my beloved, beautiful, and very difficult mother whom I mourn and will mourn for the rest of my life. My world fell apart when I lost my husband and my mother. Psychiatric issue? Maybe it is. I'm barely functioning. I haven't since their loss. ⚰️✨

Very thoughtful and I appreciate your thoughts so much. Yes the quality of my grief has held me captive and I don't know how to shake it off and no drug or psychiatric idea ever could help ever has and I doubt I ever will help until I slit my own goddamn throat

I could care less about Fading Into history what I care about is that people are perpetuating idiocracy and destroying a beautiful thing that we once had we became friends because of the web. Much harder to retain community since social media and a World of Noise we created.

What's a tag? I'm supposed to give examples of HTML to people like you please
In 2009 the original HTML working group ended as did #HTML and #XHTML. #HTML5 was first independently created by the WHAT-WG. It mostly took apart the DOM in favor of APIs. HTML5 is not a language but an ideology spread by forced assimilation. #webdevelopment #100DaysOfCode

I get so frustrated and angry. It's not directed personally please do understand. I am horrified that I dedicated so much life advocating, teaching, writing about the World Wide Web. We do want our passions to matter. Realistic it may not be, but I do feel like I failed you all.

The HTML working group at the w3c lost its Charter.

No way. HTML5 was developed outside the w3c. It is not part of the true history of specs. It is not remotely a semantic language and has nothing to do with SGML. You are not aware that this was a forced assimilation in 2009. HTML5 is political

HTML5 was not a version of HTML. It was a reformulation. Completely different.

Tragically aware of this which is my point. This is not HTML. It is HTML5 which is something completely different and completely misnamed.

I think Supreme executive power is something people just assume they can take and then take it. Most of us are not made really to be that ruthless. Biologically speaking that is not our prime directive on Earth. To aggress in this world in business and War? Well, here we are. 🙄
Here's the thing people listen up web developers of the world. HTML is not HTML5. Please understand the difference and how it came to be that way. I will help you happily and freely if you have specific questions. This is a split in the web. We can all do better. 💛💙

And in “HTML5 spec is just the worst” #73 — it made that legal and documented an example of it, effectively encouraging it.

I've been thinking about this Kelly. You are hyper-real and I so appreciate that perspective. To the point that I believe it's an art form. I'd love to understand if that helps you. Do you experience loss as distantly as it seems to me? I may be misreading due to lack of cues.
