Blogs as Peter coined 'em soon thereafter seem to me to balance forum style community with ample personal space and tools (archives, etc.). Social media? Different animal. Wordpress, etc? CMSs now, and while potent also not the right tool for lighter weight content/idea sharing.

Two HOAs in a lifetime has been enough I would agree with you here I do not like being told to pay for things especially when they aren't delivered yet get shit for hanging my wind chime on the wrong side of my own carport. They exist to profit and to give bored people purpose.

Capitalism, actually. Otherwise someone at the HOA would have to prove work product in a Communist society. Which no HOA I know of did much of, but kept increasing cost and decreasing service and upkeep.

Heh. I'm with you. But blogs to me are not social media. They are in my mind a communications medium which contains social interaction but is not dependent upon it but rather the content being communicated. I miss simple. I also once could identify signal and noise as separated.

Social Media has crippled user experience by not allowing greater api access so useful follow and unfollow information and greater control over individual posts. And has failed to provide such tools.

And sick as I say I am? I have bone marrow aplasia and am an oncology patient living longer than any recorded person without a stem cell bone marrow transplant due to use of colony stimulating factors and stem cell stimulants along with irradiated platetlets.

Tell that to TMC. I was with a Deputy Sheriff and a SACASA advocate and waited a full day and was never treated.
They are saying they can't treat anybody but covid-19 patients and there are not enough doctors and I would not sit in a hospital 5 hours waiting for treatment with all of this crap going on I'd rather die of an infection or fight it out myself. Hospitals are insane asylums.

I spent 5 hours at Tucson Medical Center but was unable to see a physician in that time due to overwhelmed with covid-19 so I did not get medical care I am severely infected and I am very sick and there's nowhere to go everybody is too sick with covid-19 to take care of anybody
