And you could use SSIs with them too :) LOL!
At 10? And dad's still using frames! That's epic, my friend. It was a perfectly legitimate construct for its time. Would your dad let you show us his site? Love to see it now :) #Frames #HTML #History #Present #Webdev #Webdesign

Dr. Mitchell, ethical technologists, usually 'Others' are needed yet feared, oppressed. Ethics are not moral bias and those who authentically speak against and work to help anyone rise above bias of predatory corporate and government agendas disrupt. "I'm fired" may be "I'm free"

Cassie, I'm overjoyed others have reassured you most caring people do hear and do see and more - will help. To not be traumatized and so isolated would be worse. Asking for help, showing vulnerabilty are signs of survival and strength, no matter what we're told. I empathize xo/m

Contrast seems the major issue but far from the only one (font, size, direction, justification, all typographic spacing, etc) but having choice matters in all aspects of life, much less web. 😀 Great point! cc: @vingar

Heya #a11y #UX #Webdev #Webdesign and related folks: Vinish asks a great question and one that certainly shows one size cannot fit all! Resources and your own condition/experiences are welcome and needed, thxU!
Folks in #design: I am not an #a11y expert and so this question—do the options of "switch to light mode" or "to dark mode" impact the accessibility? Does it enhance or hurt? All thoughts, or even references to related readings or talks are appreciated.

Never got to see them live. I imagine Detroit would be a great fit for them. Very fine musicianship as well as impeccable timing, not to mention a sound that's immediately identifiable - a hallmark to me of exceptional. Add some snarky lyrics, and there's some great music FTW!

The band and album! I still cannot pin down when I first saw them - it was on TV either PBS or perhaps an HBO music show. It was short-lived but recorded to a live audience. Natalie Merchant did one of the episodes, solo. The Eels are so impressive as musicians and performers :)

Depressing morning news was interrupted by Mr. E singing "Goddamn right, it's a BEAUTIFUL DAY" which caused dancing and singing, midde fingers up to all bad things. P.S. lookout! I'll be back for you dear #webdev #webdesign #ux <frame>makers 😛🎶 The Eels: youtube.com/y9LgwGiZe8M

Curious as to how many #webdev #webdesign #UX folks worked on HTML frame-based (<frameset> makes me giggle now) sites back in the day. Or even now! 🤣 The Web Mistakes Confessional is now open ⏳

It can't be done in a vacuum it can't be all One Direction it has to be what we give to one another that helps us get what we need to survive and adapt. Generosity has never been my problem but building walls against pain has been a big problem for me and I fear so many others.
