Oh how I feel this pain also. Other takers? What happened to evolution of the ethical self in relation with society? We have traits showing we can accomplish noble acts and live in a scalable, meaningful, humanitarian civilization. Too much or too soon to ask it seems ☮️

I love this reference. Morris and I have been looking back at the shows we watched and the things that influenced us. It's really fun in these weird times to spend reminiscing and measuring how long certain values in entertainment media stand the test of time! :-)

And if you're in Arizona of course it's wild fire 🔥
I love when folks rant about words. It's comforting to know I am not alone 😉

Alan, thanks for sharing your friend Ian's embroidered art. It is wonderful! I am inspired by his use of color and juxtaposition of words, layers of meaning and a delicious, dark, ironic display of twisted wit. I love brain food ;-)

It's definitely been a more than miserable Season of Fire here in #Arizona - this is about 2.5 hours give or take north from me. Earworm: "Burnin' down the house..." Good thoughts for the safety of all humankind, and hopes we all learn to be kinder 🔥🌵☮️ #WildFire #AquilaFire
The #AquilaFire in north Phoenix is 5% contained, according to the Arizona Department of Forestry and Fire Management, contrary to previous reports from fire officials that it was fully contained. ktar.com/story/3328547/north…

I love such stories, Alan. As for the speed at which things are processed, that's a double-edged, very sharp sword. I approve of the wine to atom smashing process. When I visited SLAC we wined, smashed and then we wined again fun time :D Ian's embroidery at CERN as art intrigues!

If I believed in hell I'd suggest we were all dead and gone to it.

I tried that. Over a thousand times. Somehow the force refuses to allow me the "give up" option despite really really feeling like it's time. Here's to better... EVERYTHING.

I heard them the other morning. I fear they might not be chattering away as they all are dead from smoke inhalation! Yes, our weather is 106F today and the condition is not "sunny" or "partly cloudy" but "SMOKE" *smh* Oy, the insanity of our times :/

A fine workaround for the short term, 😊 but I am serious about improving the quality of filters for various 'recommendations' thrown in my face. I find current filter and list settings in #Twitter repetitive and useless.
