The more time I spend with #Javascript Framework code, the more I am convinced the devolution and/or dislike of the #CSS Cascade makes sense. Whether it's building an entire application interface or a standalone app or a one-size "responsive" plug n' play app/site I'm seeing why.

Erasing history is called rewriting it so that the dominant society looks good. I'm sorry the USA did what for the Jews during the Holocaust? Who is the first nation to offer shelter? Never learn that in school and bet most people would get the answers very very wrong.

I just spit out my tea you made me laugh with that one!
Your ideas about libertarianism and Anarchy are absolutely ridiculously uninformed don't people freaking read anymore what happened to real critical analysis. You're thinking Ayn Rand onanism. Not the ideals of a civil society. These comments are ignorance incarnate.
That's because most people don't understand that libertarianism is not really a political party but a group of philosophical ideals going back to Lau Tsu. Read more about libertarianism especially differentiate Civil and Onanistic. The Civil libertarian is often highly activist.

How truly awesome in the sense of it leaves me in awe and then some. Of course I suspect this may be true of civilization in general in terms of our actual age relative to time as Western Civilization defines it. 😊❤️🤣

Gilead Sciences "races" for Covid-19 vaccine as smokescreen for a potential #BigPharma MERGER? Gilead plays deadly "It's a new drug new new year" patent games for profit because sick lives don't matter. Organized, empowered corporate #Looters #Murderers wionews.com/world/astrazenec…

Been there, done that. And figured out we already know we have a hard limit on life. This type of musing has for me ended up as a negative, not positive result. Trauma triggers hard when unable to define our limits but define our desires. Hope it works better for others and you!

Google Docs and resistance: Interesting use of shared #cloud applications indeed. There are also some good links to related apps and issues concerning management of privacy and security for individual safety such as #geolocation technologyreview.com/2020/06…

This is true you did not say you were surprised. Let me rephrase. It is completely unsurprising to me that any New Yorker myself included would turn to Union style tactics to defend what appears opposing but is merely cognitive dissonance in the nature of humankind. Better?
Why on Earth would a New York Governor turning into a Teamster surprise you Matt? Come on! It is what it is.

Relatable feelings indeed! Struggles against social injustice and for civil rights are hard on a body and soul. Add social media Idiocracy? Trauma increases. The fire burns but has little fuel. We have to keep our home fire burning too. Maybe the lesson is we must do it together!

What was that about Kindred Spirits? I absolutely agree. We have allowed apps and site development to be thought of as the same thing. It was before 2007. It now is not the same thing at all. What distinction must be made clear lest we fail both areas of expertise! 😊
It's interesting I'm talking to quite a few people who are reframing the way they approach working the web. I think this is a really good sign in some ways especially because most who are coming back are coming to mend what is broken and with an awareness of inclusion. Brava!
I like your Clarity and sense of purpose moving forward in your web work no. I'm still not quite there but it's coalescing. I will always be policy, education and process oriented but how and where to apply our skill set is really a huge issue for many of us who had stepped away.
