I have never had a mundane encounter with celebrity. All but one were kind and sweet. But Andy Warhol pushed me in a crowd and I fell. He and his entourage walked over me like a piece of trash. I was a teen usher at the "Bring Abby (Hoffman) Home" event. NYC, Felt Forum. EGOMUCH?

One of my fave celeb encounters was at a hotel in Shepherd's Bush, London. At that time not a great area but for recording studios. I'm with a friend who may or may not have been George Clinton. "HI!" In New York accent. I think "fam or old friend". Turn to say hi

I weep with joy and a deeply moved heart when I think of it. And I've met my share of unusual and interesting celebs. That it was happenstance made it all the more awesome, and I mean that as "I remain in awe" of that experience.
