Wonderful to start with the individual. And family can have a lot to do with who we become. I kept my father's surname. My mother is a Kafka. Franz is a cousin. People think I'm dark and hyperverbal? Ha! ;-)

This just makes @Wikipedia a product of the Web as an extension of humans at their best, worst and everything in between. These are course-correctable through communication and clarity. No matter the personal and social issues, that it is the go-to for Web users at large matters.

The more I look at how @Wikipedia actually works, a shift in my thoughts about how and why there's such a love/hate in the industry are clarifying. Its system design and rules read like W3C specs of old. It is biased. It asks for ethical boundaries people will inevitably ignore.

Absolutely. And that is to me not an ideal, but it's not a situation where anyone if forced into participation via browser tricks. People don't want to participate in the content model, they don't have to. Otherwise, I'd be a little more snarky. Hey, want an apple? I have two ;-)

All things considered I'm far better off than almost anyone in statistical history with such a rare issue. Largely due to the brilliance of one Oncology/Hematology Godess who is both a real medical scientist and incredible clinician. SO LUCKY. And it is what it is. Deadly. Awful.

NOT ethical but it is done. I think this is about an entirely different issue regarding nothing to do with being ack'd for one part of my life others prefer.

That's like asking "what do you DO".
One thing is never just one thing.
The glib answer is yes we will have the thousands, but without titles etc its just noise. Could you sort out dozens of leading women with titles? "upload file" at "wikimedia commons" and see us woo hoo when you tell us. We think Pics inspire editors & readers.
