She taught you a valuable lesson. Most docs HATE informed patients. But it has kept me alive because while we want all life to matter, USA health care is evidence (among many other examples) proving it does not.

Happy update on my Fundraiser. A decision yesterday from #Arizona #Governor covering his stinkass has halted predatory housing deposits and security fees (my challenge) along with extending eviction protections for those who are also facing homelessness.

I read a lot of non-fiction and academic topics lately, and leave fiction for movies/tv. I have lost what was perfect eyesight and get eye fatigue. I dislike audio books. I dearly miss real books so so so much.
I'm glad you are safe and hanging in there. Also, it's so refreshing to know people still actually read. :)

Challenges with housing. I need to find home. Health is what it is. Getting off almost all prescriptions has helped. Still trouble with appetitie. My intellect is where the wonder is - my brain is sparking ideas as it once did, and it's fun. Thanks for askiing. How are YOU? :)

I regret leaving the web standards project. I thought that's because Microsoft had offered me it would have been a conflict of interest. In hindsight I recognize that my commitment to authenticity would have me walking before lying. The decision that we were done was my death too
Sometimes I think that's Great: movements don't need to be centralized.
Sometimes I think we need it back: It was a huge inspiration & resource for what the web _could_ be. Articulating a bigger vision.
