In a different vein of the same arm, I see #DisabilityAblesplained trending. Fuck #DIS. It means "apart, away, possessing a negative force" FUCK that word. WE ARE NOT DIS and to put it in yesterday's parlance "Don't be DISsin me!" I have challenges that require help, WHO DOESN'T?

I know! I'm sad to say he died before I was born so I never knew him. But my mother was such a Daddy's girl I knew a lot about him and apparently was like him - super smart, loud, opinionated, sharp-witted, truth-to-power, ethical and loving.
Denmark has always seemed a truly decent country, but I haven't been there :( Iceland is a remarkably beautiful country but both are way too cold for me! Also, I really prefer to see color both in land and people.
