Reminds me of a very bizarre story of an English-raised man from India in Manchester screaming over his phone at a support person in India to "learn to speak English" People are so strange. And ignorant as a point of pride.
I never fill in documentation asking for race/religion. It's been done for me. Nevada doctor has me as "White" and the psychiatrist put "African-American". Arizona has made me Latina. Marital Status: Widowed Religion: Race: Ethnic Group: Hispanic or Latino I'M A HUMAN FFS!

That is more than kind, it's accurate. I was not made to go quietly or easily into my good night. Thank you for loyalty, it's where respect starts for me, which is where the best of friendships exist for me. #grateful

Truth works! Until you have to wear a symbol or a tattoo you don't want.
What will an 'American Jew' answer when people start saying "Go back to Israel?"

Understatement much? We have other camps here in Arizona and I live between several. They're called "reservations" Ugly world, ugly times, and I'm also Jewish. I'm often asked if I have horns. I tell people they're just there to hold up my halo. We need a loop escape and now!

In Trump's America I've been everything but what I actually am: A native to the United States, born legally in the state of New York to parents also born legally in New York City, USA, legal children of legal immigrant families. Isn't that "AMERICAN" or do a refresh in Civics?

"President Trump will sign an executive order defining Judaism as a nationality, not just a religion, thus bolstering the Education Department's efforts to stamp out "Boycott Israel" movements on college campuses nyti.ms/2P97cuv" This is as anti-American as it gets.

Yes, and I like many of the ideas therein. I had hoped to go to a gathering in SF but my wings aren't working too well these days. But I have ideas ;-)
On whose server? I LOVE the idea and would run my own but for bandwidth. This is a serious issue. Also, the sheer volume of extended friends and family use S&M (heh). Web sites can be isolating as people just do not think about them the way we once did, I think.

Stop in Tucson for a few days. I will introduce you to tacos that will leave you crying. And sweating. And ruined for faux tacos for life! #TacoTuesday

I still have to crunch the numbers more formally for my "Witty, Wise, Wonderful, Weary poll and add a column for "other" comments. However of a cross-media selection of 100 answers, 85 included "weary" over all other options including original ones. 85%.

HA! THAT must be why the front of my hair took on a lot more color than the thicker back portions. YAY to cosmetological skills. My hair, when healthiest, will dread naturally. My Mom didn't figure it out 'til long after I had. She called 'em "rat's nests!" #TrueStory #SoFun🙃😎

I LOVE IT! Did you do it or did Martine or yes? Blue is a great hair color. And nail color. My nails are blue right now FTW!

Thank you Michael! At first it didn't work for me but I'd forgotten that first few-day glare of hair color ;-) Ever color your hair? :D
