It's the USA. We like to think we're so great. It's a hard-knock life for some of us. Pfffft. We arre Arrogant Bullshit as a Nation. Our people however, from so many places all over the world, are a delicious buffet of saffron and spice.

I know it was hard for others. I can only be grateful for your kindness, there are no words for all the rest. Thank you, my friend. :D

How my brain has become so alive? Not an additive process. Subtractive! With the very on-point medical Dr. Goshorn, I'm now 45 days without prescription Prozac (Fluoxetine) after 20 years with! This was by design.

You're my soldier of misfortune but a diamond in disease I will laugh with you forever Keep on seeing what you see If you think this is about you you may be arrogant Some of us can And some of us can't.

Not upsetting so much as "how the you know what did I miss that!" I always love seeing translations of books on which I've worked. Thank you for sharing. Comfort is the fact that I am laughing my ass off over here. I'm a child of the Cold War so Soviet Block jokes work for me😂
So, this is the "official" Russian translation for "The Zen of CSS Design" by @mezzoblue and me? What a butt-ugly cover! The "cold" there up North must be numbing the creative brain. As @zeldman might say "Day-um, that's some beans." I was not aware of this cover! #LaughAndCry

So let me tell you a story about just that. It goes like this...I'm still alive. Ain't because of my most deadly disease (Bone Marrow Aplasia) which is almost completely iatrogenic. 🙃 Nobody in health care actually cared. I've been bleeding since age 4. "Growth Pains" #FFS

It might have been Johnny Cash?
Damn you David Storey! You never fail to smack me upside my head. T Rex? I was rockin this while you were a single-celled organism. I want to hate you but that is an impossibility. So let's rock on. I have steak! An outside grill the size of Asia. Plenty of rackspace (ha!) too.👏🏽

I couldn't. Others can. I'm happy for any role in that I played in the past and can play for the rest of my days. No matter the horrors, the darkness, LOVE prevails and somehow helped me home. It's not an easy ride for empathetic humans to bridge real and virtual worlds so well!

Thank you, Faruk, for writing this to me. I know with certain people. Especially those like you who have defied gravity and flew over rows of chairs to share our first in-person hug! 2005. London. First @ media - Like yesterday. Like 10,000 years. But mostly like yesterday! xo/m

As my dear Mom used to say from your mouth to God's ears. But she was an atheist so I'm a little confused LOL. I love your passion as ever and always thank you for being you.

I literally feel that to be true. It's just not measurable at this point. I tend to take comfort in empirical data over dissonant faith. I don't have enough data yet but my heart is already there.

I really want to believe that's the truth. I do see some empirical evidence to suggest it's possible we humans can turn this damned bus around! I'm still not holding my breath for us to suddenly rise up, to breach our biases and egos. I want to believe. I SO want to believe!
