"How the Internet is Killing Humanity" Brink was a startup when *I* was a startup (1994ish?) in Tucson by my pal Danny. We were dreamers then and now, still, as this article points out. Fun Fact: Brink started out mostly as a Flash House! #FridayThoughts brink.com/wonder/how-the-int…

Water. We have too much or not enough lately. Here we've had a 36 hour water outage. It's just starting to trickle back. We need a trade! Desert for ocean?😀 Folks, be safe no matter which "weather extreme" your climate is experiencing! #WednesdayWisdom #Wednesday #Weather 🌩️🌀🌧️

No joke! I always keep backup drinking water. While I had grasped the ecological issues, it's a new experience to be on a ranch during such an event. Water collection from rain, grey water-we still have a significant deficit that may never be corrected in this climate of change.

Some have too much water, we've got a reminder of what if there's no water. Still no service to my area at 24 hours now! Sobering experience to be on a working ranch complete with collected and stored #Water in a desert #Sonora #Tucson #Pima #Desert #WheresTheWater
Ajo/Kinney outage update: most customers should see water service restored by midnight. We're urging impacted customers in that zone to boil water for one minute before consuming, for the next 48 hours.

This looks like a cool event for me to aim to attend. I have since my teens seen systems and networks as platforms for human evolution. Not that we use them that way so much! meetup.com/cohack-tucson/eve… #Meetup #Tucson via @Meetup

Hope you win the argument with your knees. I know the old joints-are-pissed-at-me feels all too well so empathize deeply. *hugs* back x infinity xo/m

That's truly tragic as it indicates they also have no clue about what have become American classic wit. It separates generations as well as affinity groups. I can give the same talk today about web #a11y and standards and will in turn hear mostly crickets and quiet tears.

Thank you. I honestly do just point and shoot! Nature mostly does the rest! Hope you're doing well today?

This is why people don't get my jokes. Or so I'll tell myself! ;-) Seriously, I run into this sort of thing all the time. It's not a bad thing as it means you don't just stick to engaging with your generation as many choose to do. Grow Wide (metaphorically lol) young man!

yikes! But again my life kind of did the same thing. Elliot is kind of my little prize fighter as a reminder we keep getting back up no matter how hard we are shaken 😜❤💚💙

The zoo here needed more critters. So there's now an outside tunnel for an elusive desert #tortoise named "Om". Honey Kitty let (heh) me have this baby #Betta. I named him Elliot.
