SXSW used to be our geek camp! It's gotten too big, too crowded and I can't handle it now. I loved it in the days we were emerging as an industry!
P.S. thank you for the Gutenberg Accessibility work! I owe Matt an apology because I called him out hard at first and now regret it as I could have done that more gracefully and ultimately it is being worked on!

I have been given so much, I am overwhelmed by the love and diverse humans and nations and kindnesses afforded me. That "Token" problem was limited to certain factions only, and I think it's because those factions felt a modicum of guilt but not that much for it to last or matter

Doesn't matter. I am happy to have given whatever good I have given. I don't value money, I value humanity, knowledge, kindness, love, humor and work on correcting my own sometimes but not always misplaced anger at certain people or events, but it's not often anymore I feel that.

AWESOME! Great topic and so glad it was well-received. It's sometimes difficult to not be able to fly and go to confs as a participant rather than speaker/moderator etc. Funny aside: I am Matt's Jewish Mother, appointed by HIS mother when WordPress was just passing Moveable Type!
I can't say as I'm not in it, but for about 10 years people hired me because I was a woman so they could cover ass, not because they cared about me sometimes. This is not just my perception as others have pointed out it out many times. I hope resources will help. We're here.
