Few will remember, but we once had a "Where are the women" panel at SXSW. I think it was the same year as the first "Blogging While Black" - both lasted a few years and were wonderful. I miss those conversations, which still matter despite being overrun by hate. Anyone remember?

Yes to all! Excellent. We are as I said more than we think, I think xo/m

@kuanLuo I want to thank you for creating Elpha and reaching out to women in tech with dignity and truth. Candor is so refreshing. As one of the oldest women on the Web these days, I truly appreciate the opportunity to speak freely among such a creative, brilliant group. xo/m
Some other names (someone always is overlooked) @FANTASAI @gotomedia @redcrew (a huge champion) @sharrush @LFLegal @obiwankimberly @lisarein @Lemay @lynda I know I have a lot more in my head. We are far more than we realize or recognize, methinks. xo/m

The primary champion of women of the web. Always was, for real. Not lip service, but unification and true respect. I love you Nick Finck for always and ever!

Also, despite being in the room with Ev Williams and Tantek giggling over playing with baby Twitter, the unasked use of my face on the home page for several *years* Never was offered verification, never asked. Only a handful of industry women in all these years have one. Uncool.

Nick is a champion for many reasons, but one is that he always acks me despite the fact I'm retired except from commentary ;-) Good idea re followbacks. We were going to do similar some time back as well as starting to get more women influencers onto Wikipedia.

Humanity has flaws, one of the most problematic is not accepting others as individuals but seeing them as we would want them to be.

If one thinks there's no wind today so no TV tonight, we're not remotely close to facts as we know them lol.
As for "fixing here" hmmm. I'm not sure we can do that with people who refuse to accept we differ but truth is a long process of proofs. Even truth changes (Hi Einstein!) ;-)

Although sending a few select people to Mars right now could solve a lot of problems... ;-)
You make a fine point indeed. I am very pro space exploration but for real science and better understanding of the amazing Cosmos we are part of. How it's funded is another issue. Life on earth first, yes.

The Irish will have to try and get another country to cover it if they prefer not to ;-)

That actually goes against everything we know about color here in the US at least. Red and yellow cars are the most dangerous. Orange can't be far behind. Too distracting. And get pulled over more than standard colored cars! Wild.

One of the social meanings of the color orange in product design in the USA is "cheap." #FridayFunny

"Forward, I pray, since we have come so far, And be it moon, or sun, or what you please. An if you please to call it a rush candle, Henceforth I vow it shall be so for me." - Katherine succumbs to Petruchio when he says the sun is the moon. Shakespeare, Taming of the Shrew.😫

I'm having more trouble processing that DJT believes we did go to the moon than enjoying the juvenile Uranus jokes out of once more dignified leaders and citizens. It might be funny if you're 5. 🌛🌜
