It's gone backward due to Frameworks and not enough advocacy to bring better understanding to CSS Cascade and specificity. I keep threatening to do something about it but I can't work much and no one remembers me of this new era cuz I don't go out or talk Web much anymore :)

When I announced that I had joined many years ago and you are one of the foremost and first CSS dudes like @meyerweb told me "I'm so sorry" LOL. 20+ years overdue!!! Christopher you're Aces! PS Stick near @fantasai
This week I joined the @CSSWG. I was formally trained as a print designer but gravitated to the web due in large part to CSS. It's an understatement to say that the work done @CSSWG has had a significant impact on my career. Hope to make meaningful contributions where I’m able.

No crystal balls here Brad. No hope. No despair now. I was heartbroken. It is what it is. WaSP or similar is needed but I do not have the physical or mental capacity to lead a cat. I disagreed then and now, our work is SO not done. It will outlast us, Brad, if we humans make it!

We worked with a number of the designers to show how they did certain design techniques. Menus, better font use, it was a CSS jump ahead and do it now that we had IE more on track (ha, my one personal pride was IE and MS via WaSP. Buh-bye IE, hello Chrome monoculture (I like Tor)

That's called the Web as it was meant to be. I think it's not Web 1.0 if we have to mark it. SAME XHTML, Designer CSS, no script and yet - wow. It's been referred to as a "Proof of Concept" (actually that was Dave's Garden IMO) but the book got the word out along with sessions.

We were asked a few years later to do a follow-up and both of us agreed not to because this captures a certain time and ideology and that had already changed and I don't think it would have been that interesting. It did very very well and helped a lot of people myself included.🤣

Homage to The CSS Zen Garden and the book that was a truly great co-author experience with Dave Shea. I learned so much from him and all the designers. Such progress for a declarative, meaningful, semantic, beautifully crafted #webdesign great years of optimism for us all it was.

Impulsive and first responder and alpha alpha human. Without a sense of safety for myself. It is getting softer as I age, but I chose peace. I'm really a revolutionary.
I have a Walgreens 10 minutes away once I drive over the "hill" (mountain). And every other imaginable Walmart, CVS etc. My family's used you for 3 generations. Maybe it's time to break up because when I called for help the tech at Las Vegas yelled at me and hung up - "TOO BUSY"
@Walgreens Why do you send meds through the mail so obviously? I grabbed mine today from an unlocked semi-rural box and the bag had a bottle with obvious shaking noise because you won't fill it in Arizona until we get all my docs in a row. I fought for it every time in person. :/
