There is a cultural "Fear of the Mexican" in the USA though. You see it in DJT and others of his generation especially. Good people scapegoated because it couldn't be US who are drug dealers and thieves. What's killing America is Fentanyl, which is imported from China mostly FFS.
I don't want to replace. I want to extend. Does that make sense? Futurism involves us not just robots that do the rote work. We already have humans doing that. Ha!
I'm not saying we should use it like that now but I'm pointing out how Big Data in a complex input pulled together and output a cogent result. Data is not knowledge. It informs.
Doctors do not understand pathology unless they have had pathological training. They also do not understand pharmacology. It's like asking a database engineer to fix your video display.
And then use charts, clipboards and judgement instead of looking at the human in front of them as unique. If you get 3 minutes with a doctor in the USA that's a courtesy. Last doctor I saw in Las Vegas didn't even examine me and wanted to pull my spleen which is incredibly risky.
