Honey Kitty got me this vegan triple chocolate coma cupcake. It was sooo yummy. I ate it and passed out for 10 hours. It was pure sugar crash. Not a drop of Cannabis. Honey doesn't have her medical card. 馃槀馃挅馃槣馃槀

I adore that pic. It never fails to make me laugh, cry and sing. It was at the dawn of so much change and we knew something was going on but I doubt any of us could see where it would go. It was a more innocent time of the Web and life. And the curls are epic! Love you all xo/m
I love your vehement passion, Andrew :) Right on!

Thanks Jeffrey! I always love seeing that picture and I hear Simon and Garfunkel's words: "What a time it was it was a time of innocence, a time of confidences..." Much love to you and all the enchanted children of this world!

I'm 56 today and Nixon is trending on Twitter! Time Warp Time! But other than the state of nations and nation states, I am happy and joyous and deeply moved to have a world of friends who truly care. I needed that, I need you as my family and I love you with a wide open heart. 鉂わ笍

What a wonderful tweet to have shared! I'm honored and touched, truly, because I feel the same about you - you're creative and get the jokes and enjoy the wordplay. It's a valuable friendship xo/m

There's always confusion. Except when I have a huge bag of original @reeses. Then I know exactly what to do. Remember the classic and playful commercials "You got your peanut butter on my chocolate / You got your chocolate on my peanut butter"? Well played tweet Mike, well played

It's both #PeanutButterDay and #NationalComplimentDay. I'm confused. Do I compliment peanut butter or a Nation? P.S. Hashtags need a #specificity algorithm. 馃ぃ馃槀馃槝

What long, strange trip it has been and continues to be! I remain fascinated with the Web's potential and uses for international sharing and caring aspect which dominated #open Web principles. We can and are doing work that matters, even our missteps. They've lead to solutions :D

likewise. And as we're seeing with Chrome based browsers such as @brave is starting to show a real commitment to built-in tools and security features, and over on the Mozilla code side we have @torproject - I imagine such changes will require your own business model to adapt.

such a great example of real-world immediate needs over long-term for a necessary outcome in the time crunches we have. Sometimes it is a matter of making the choice, and if it can be defended well, sometimes rule breaking brings solutions. But KNOWING why when and how? Tricky!

I know you were j/k but I used your quip as a bouncing off point for addressing a very !important issue ;-)

Beating ourselves up isn't helpful, I find. It's a logical fast-fix in #CSS.. I've done it myself (badMols) FFS. The point is we can do better but it requires effort and learning, which isn't fast and easy. Just keep at it, course correct where you can, and keep learning/sharing.

I'm afraid that's where I'm at. I redid my site recently, and, lacking knowledge of how to do it "better" I resorted to the following to tame my photo captions: .wp-caption-text {opacity: 1 !important;} allthepages.org, fwiw.

Thanks! RTing for interested readers. The problem isn't you, I use your extension when running Chrome OS. It's legacy missteps. The plug in/extension models emerged as truly needed stopgaps, but fundamentally any plug-in or extension is pointing to issues with in-browser tools.
Hey, just a quick FYI here: the proposed changes *will* affect Adblock Plus in the same way as any other ad blocker. We will work together with our peers to avoid such regulations, as our goal is to keep Adblock Plus fully functional for our Chrome users.

To clarify, the !important declaration in #CSS was created for a specific issue: Balancing user and author style weight to ensure user styles always "win." Using it as a correction for conflicts anywhere else is a hack, a cheat, and a long time problem in edu and our skillsets.

The reason it works is because it's a declaration purposely created to weigh in as most specific. It was meant to balance user styles especially for #a11y and author styles that try to steal the weight of a user sheet. It's a cheat and if folks do it they are not mastering code.

I just use !important in every declaration. Works like magic. jk - don't punch me!

Plug ins and extensions were our Achilles Heel. Now we course correct or focus. I'm learning adaptation skills in behavioral health, the message is very strong for all life challenges. learning from our missteps is of enormous value to all of us. The Web is confused, not lost.
AdBlock Plus deleted. No Chrome for years. Never log in to Google. Been using @DuckDuckGo for years, but it appears to be partly crippled now. Using @TheTunnelBear, @firefox Focus, and Clearly. Started using NCSA MOSAIC on this day 1993. This is not the web I want. @mholzschlag
