I, too, have a dream. Do you? Thank you infinitely, Martin Luther King Jr. We cannot ever forget the lessons of peaceful demonstration, civil rights actions and hope for humankind.

"No, no, we are not satisfied and we will not be satisfied until justice rolls down like waters and righteousness like a mighty stream. (9.9)" in the infamous "I have a Dream" speech by MLK Jr.

“Through our scientific and technological genius we've made of this world a neighborhood. And now through our moral and ethical commitment we must make of it a brotherhood. We must all learn to live together as brothers—or we will all perish together as fools.” - MLK Jr.

“We must rapidly...shift from a "thing-oriented" society to a "person-oriented" society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights are...more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered.”

Thanks my friend. I'm not interested in "monetizing" the domain per se. I have some good ideas that are more in step with my career-long advocacy for an open Web. :)

Even when the message at home is the opposite. My mom was a socialist and feminist and particularly hard on me. I now see what she was fighting socially and feel grateful for her attempts against the status quo of the time.

Nothing. I'd love it! But I'm of a different mindset. I married the one who cared for me. He's gone from us now, so who needs the trauma and drama? LOL!

I just had yet ANOTHER woman tell me "You should find yourself another husband to take care of you." What is with that? My mother deeply instilled a fierce sense of independence in me, so much so I have trouble with real intimacy. Why *women* tho? Men don't ever say such a thing.

@musingvirtual Everything's okay, my brother had a nightmare and was worrying about me. I'm hangin' in there, the neighborhood not so much! We were talking about a phone/sms/etc tree. There are a few people I will always respond to, or someone will :)

Is it unnecessary truly, or does it come back to you later on? I find the lessons come back in some way.

A Purdue econ professor asked other pundits on @CNN whether there was 'any place people could just go to share information' and not have it turned into a media circus. The World Wide Web itself was meant to be that, until that damned "e" in 1998 connected to "Commerce" #NetEthics
