I spent a lot of quiet time thinking about Senator John McCain who will lie in state at US Capitol, a rare honor. I came of age and lived my working adult life in Arizona. I often fought his politics but his life prove him a truly great American Statesman usat.ly/2BQkY0A

Great photo, and happy #burningman - welcome to #nevada. Stay hydrated and safe please, especially if you are indulging in party favors. #burningman2018
It’s a gorgeous morning to wait in a five-hour queue to enter #BurningMan today.

What a lovely invitation. I don't know that I'm emotionally stable enough to deal with that particular gathering of humans right now and would just sit there sobbing and laughing at the same time for what was won and what was lost for all of us xo xo xo
So much #gratitude for raising awareness! Especially for kids and people like me who are beyond medical benefit! #hope when a sibling match bone marrow stem cell transplant is a very risky treatment. #science #medicine #RareDisease #blood #BMFD twin-cities.umn.edu/news-eve… 🔬💚⚕️

I feel the same about you. Isn't that the point? Inclusion not exclusion. Find the common bonds for a better world xo

I will gently ask people reconsider "top so-and-so-to-follow" lists in #webdesign #webdev #ux and all related specialties - we are in this as an international open project, or that what's what it was. Leaving one out is exclusion when many of our voices still cry #inclusion #a11y

They say it's lonely at the top. I could give a shit if I'm remembered or honored for anything but being a person who despite every imaginable hardship continues to thrive - long past the expiry date. My passion for the Web Of People remains almost unparalleled. I never sold out.

It might be an improvement that @Google is changing its news feeds. My phone knows the time, my location but actual date and it surely isn't December 31st 1969 as this image depicts on Google News. 🤩❤️😅😈😈😈

Of the Northern border states, MI is most interesting to me from historical perspectives, architecture, social/civil rights awareness and many other appealing features xo

The only reason MA factors in is density of education in step with my interests and that my brother has rental property in P-town. He and his partner are downsizing at their primary home in Albany, New York. Much love to warm my heart, much cold to hurt my bones, alas.

Specifically: Carson City, Reno and Mojave. Lake Tahoe region would be fine by me but again, I'm outclassed out of that area. I do like Nevada's extremes as I can observe passively yet keep out of the drama, and I am grateful for the benefit from the 55+ state senior designation.
Based on family/friend support system, the spots are New York, Massachusetts, Florida, California. Based on a "try the new" pov Northern Nevada (very cold as well in winter, but with .edu and activities that draw me) - Las Vegas has appealing places but affordability is a factor.

I remember as we stopped there on our way to Ann Arbor, which definitely has an appealing lifestyle despite those cold winters. It's just more expensive. Lansing lands economically reasonable for me but that cold and I do not like each other very much. I did manage Oslo okay. :D
P.S. I just read that Lansing is on my "where might Molly like to live next" with the exception of the cold winters, beautiful though they can be at times with snow-covered fields and farmhouses - very charming area. It's a tempting choice. :)

People talk about not having regrets? I regret that I spent decades doing these exact stupid human relationship tricks. Luckily, I woke up and got married to the one not chosen 30 years ago. Though I lost him too soon, it speaks to this exact nature/nurture bug in the human OS!💚
