Thanks @elpie. I'm among the fortunate to have found a well run independent senior living situation coming in where the air conditioning runs cold and I don't face west east so I don't get the full Wrath of Vegas Valley Sun:-)

I've been really sick which is making it hard to get logistical things done that have to be done. I graciously ask my community if they have a little bit of time here and there to help me make appointments and get through my surgeries which are not an if any more but a when. 1).

You're thinking about it logically. That's the problem! The system is not logical and it's mostly not there to help. The abuses in mental health care in my own and I'm sure many other people's experiences has been appallingly bad and sometimes downright abusive toward patients.😮

Maggie, yes with that clarification, definitely not the same thing as going into a dark work/group situation with a genuine desire to make a difference. One is activism, the other is just selfish :)
