If we have no experience of something "done" how can we "do" / vice-versa? If we're taught that self is what matters then what else matters?

I treat most people better than I have ever treated myself. I affect people however, and am still learning that they only see what they can.
"they" also teach "turn the other cheek" - it's a cherry picker's dream of isms that amount to a lot of rot.

I empathize. It's hard for me too. I want to never have to rely on others. However, that also blocks the opportunity for another to help us!

My husband was a great warrior in combat as well protecting non-combatants. Navy Corpsmen "DEFY DEATH!" Pain cannot rule one. Until it does.

LOL. It sounds I'm more socially isolated, especially since loss of my Mother's brain and husband's death. Processing in therapy isn't love.
