I am concerned about education for web devs. We need to have a real learning process from foundation to advanced for both apps and sites.
I have been very ill these last few years. Attempted to work at W3C and Vivaldi but I need recuperation time (also lost hubby in Feb :( )

I don't hate on the devs doing this. To an app developer, abstraction like that is natural. But it is not Web standards or #a11y. More edu!

This is a different age. The application devs have dropped the cascade, they use inline CSS, they use !important without understanding, etc.

It is completely possible to use a Framework and do JS driven dev well. It takes a little more finesse and understanding than I see alas.
and yes, you nailed a major issue - we can't think of it as a mashup. These are layered technologies for a very specific reason! :)

It appears however that the foundational principles are thrown out the window in today's framework driven world. This is frustrating to me.

Arizona. I'm so glad I'm out of that state. Nevada is weird, but it's got a lot more diversity in its cities, less segregation. #JeffFlake

I think it's the split of state and fed - states rights are strong in Arizona. This is part of why I think McCain did what he did.
I wish it didn't have to be that way but these idiots talk about wall building (we have it already, borderlanders know that electric fence).
