I would say it's an ethic. The point is that being a doctor is not for a person without a true desire to serve humankind. Hahahaha.

Nope! Not even in the texts ;-) More intense - to subjugate the self for the patient and public good. In other words, stand with and for us.

Never saw it in the new era - the original at times. I am and have always been a lot darker. More of a batgirl tbh ;-)

May be what made everyone in my family blames me for all the bad things LOL! Talk about setting myself up. Not enough Chutzpah yet in me ;-)

Darnit! I was the weird kid who always took the blame so others wouldn't get in trouble. Martyr syndrome much? I want to try blaming others!

My point anyway :D - It's about the eradication of ego - which is exactly the opposite of what happens in my experience with "healthcare"

Here's a bit of trivia! NO using search or reference, just current, native understanding - what is the core message of the Hippocratic Oath?

Wait. what am I thinking. DOH! Scientists. We like evidence, testing, iteration and measurable results. I apologize for being such a dork!
@tannyo That's a huge public health and safety issue that will harm all people. Blaming behavior doesn't work for today's newer oncoviruses.
1
@tannyo Seriously is that really okay with you that infectious diseases like HIV and HCV and a whole slew of oncoviruses won't get treated?
1
@tannyo Our government tries to keep pharmaceutical profits at times. But via other wrongs such as fraud. Profit off of poor and dying? OK?

I am truly sorry about Parkinson's. I am glad you are eligible for Medicare, and that Parkinson's meds are mostly no longer patent drugs...

Now I'm 100% disabled and beyond medical benefit. Palliative care and blood co-pays are four times my income now. That's a bit better, eh?

Not here. ACA: 1,000 p/month. My treatment meds are now up to 250,000 debt co-pays, with over 70k paid out already. I got in the wrong line.

Dear pharmaceutical companies, will you please invent a drug that cures greed, sociopathy and genocidal disregard? Thanks, your own, Molly

Viruses, cancer #raredisease #orphanDrugs - it's as if people should be punished for getting a physical ailment? Yet sociopathy is COOL now.

Another investigation that needs to continue: @GileadSciences - they did an even worse thing with their #BigPharma profits. Death by design.

How did I miss this big USA #healthcare #bigPharma Martin Shkreli in-trouble AGAIN? Psychopathy in that one. He's an outright murderer. 😡
