Semantic accuracy! Name it for what it is and means. @w3c is not behaving as an open organization. Let's Own it. That is my only ask here.

I respectfully ask the @W3C rescind ALL use of the word "Open" In relation to any and all references of the TCP/IP x HTTP(s) World Wide Web.

In my informed and well-studied opinion, #EME exists @W3C to: Retain membership and a false pretense of political apathy. THIS IS NOT OPEN.

This week #webdev folk were building the Web, the @w3c has made a firm decision to let #EME in #HTML5 move forward. This is not #open web.
