In many ways I don't want to leave and my heart is still there. It's beautiful. Socially and ethically, so terribly corrupt.

But yes, generally saner there, except there's just a downward spiral in so many areas: edu, healthcare, economy, racism, border.
It actually is the little blue speck amidst a lot of messy people. Hey Herbert, I owe you a tshirt. Did not have in your size :(

Hence my one day a week steam-blowing implementation. I don't know if it can be that organized though. I'm reactionary ;-)

How do you control it? I'm thinking of instituting a one day a week of pure steam blowing, then back to the job of the day.

exactly, but over time our perspectives changed and we're more sensitive to tropes now. But it wasn't a trope then! :)
