This is a key @moboboandyking FAR easier if I could say my family are scumbags so buhbye but they are NOT bad people at all. Stuck, perhaps.
Any tips? How do you protect yourself from emotional upheaval? I'm not good with compartmentalization. Distraction helps me more.

SO true. Ethnic and immigrant experiences are incredibly useful for adaptation in these times. People from war-torn nations too.
