exactly! Part of the proposals challenge was exactly the complexity of the issue - and that was almost a decade ago! Yowza!

re @vivaldibrowser Nigel? if it was @netmag that would have been ~5 years ago, so Opera. I also was writing a @CSSWG series.

in terms of logic, creating new syntax to expand potential is a good approach. It's implementation that's messy & takes time!

Point taken thanks! I'm thinking about CSS that enables use of print style sheets aligned to proper color spaces for print.

From responses to the post coming in, it's expanded syntax in SVG and/or CSS. I've got some rust build-up on the brain gears!

SO much yummy goodness there. Many thanks and great to see, would also add strong interest for eventual implementation.

WebKit now supports the new CSS color() syntax. e.g. color(display-p3 1 0 0). Unfortunately it didn't make it in time for today's SafTP 17.

Excellent @dauwhe my next post was to ping you on this - not even joking! @csswg @w3c @grorgwork
Proposals have touched #browser support for #CMYK print output. The use cases in #webdev #webdesign #ui #ux seem vast. Thoughts or examples?
The sRGB color gamut is smaller than the Munsell, Pantone, or any color space for paints and pigments.
