Related to the chemical element sulfur, yes. Not sulfa antibiotic though. Two different things. Sulfur is also used for wound care.

Yep, poured that clotting powder right on all by myself ;-) It's incredible stuff and really saved me from hours in an E.R.

Hubby's getting me some gauze too after hearing of my "this thumb is not a bagel" move yesterday. Sounds like it's also helpful!

That makes a lot of sense because the chemicals in it cause a clot, blocking medicine access. Great for injury-based bleeds tho!
Haha, then you and I need to stay hidden from each other lest I bleed, you faint, and you end up bleeding! ;-)

It's an old battlefield trick fancied up into a powder/gel - "Wound Seal" is a common brand - everyone should keep them around!
