with newspapers I think ad-revenue model is so entrenched it's hard to think around it for multi revenue streams.

It's not that ads that bother me, it's the blocking of access. I prefer a free/premium content model for Web.
What did I miss? I want to live and learn too! Gin was a fave in my imbibing days! I loved anything with a sturdy juniper flavor.

unfortunately especially true in newspapers online. To me it's a fundamental wrong to trap information in a journalistic context.

For me it's a category @eisaksen - newspapers. The blocking of news access is an ethical issue, yet ad-driven revenues are deeply ingrained.

couldn't agree more a nd a very hard lesson learned by me. To feel worthless in the eyes of society because of illness is inhumane.
