With no collaborative, fun work there's no real opportunity to explore diverse ways of thinking. This limits creativity.

I'm okay with it too. I know it looks foolish to others but the minutes count. We are resourceful, it works out somehow.

Absolutely! I whine about money and lack thereof plenty. But I chose that. I simply won't work where human kindness isn't.
Could be history repeating. in 1997-8 with the little "e" (eCommerce, eBusiness, eTc.) a lot of profit first crap went on.
