I'm going to talk about this with my husband. He's dealt with such issues in his work as a physician serving the rural poor.

well that at least is a relief. Sometimes it's well hidden but that she does stay in touch with others and her children is good.

How much do you fear for this woman, do you believe authorities should be involved? What would you do if you were here yourself?

Let's call it a "strongly controlled ministry" for lack of a better term. Whatever we call it, my concern is a baseline human one.

Do you think there's a situation there where there might be actual abuse? Does this situation threaten anyone and/or public safety

What concerns me is her physical, mental and social well-being if she's being so cut off from outside friends and support.

I'd hate to get in between a husband and wife, definitely sounds as though someone involved in a related ministry would be best.

That's probably very helpful in a creative sense! I can get that way when fired up and passionate about a task or event. :)

how do you feel about that? That bothers me big-time! My husband wouldn't do that to me nor I to him. Trust and love above all!

Traffic circles are useless meetings. Underpasses is Human Resources. Overpasses are for VIPs. Shortcuts are just shortcuts.

I've personally placed a ban on all one way streets. No interaction? No action!

I think I think from the bottom up because up is a clear path to endless. Down gets dirty and dark with a path leading nowhere.

Imagine a company's hierarchy as a tree. President at top points down thru layers to lowest level, say janitorial. Up or down?

My mother once told me "the day another person dictates your words and the liberty to speak them is the day you walk away." Do you agree?

Up is endless, up is progressive, up is potential. Down is known, historic, factual, roots. We need both so anchor the anchor and think up.

I'm a think up person. Thinking down makes everyone around you think down and that just means we all end up staring at the ground. Think up!
