Tucson's winter is starting to look a lot like Oslo's summer. I wonder at times if I had moved to Norway if I'd live to see palm trees grow!

@GarethSuarez HA! That sounds right. We're all over 50 in this house, except the cat ;-)

@smfr Are we going to make beanbags into "things" that we can use for texting? There are many amusing messaging options involving beanbags.
My section of town lost power last night. Ever notice how extreme the silence is when the power goes out? I love that. Spooky beautiful.

Good morning from Tucson, where the weather reveals more odd behavior than a roadrunner. Windy, icy, wet AND sunny. They say I'M moody?

@dylanbarrell I'm afraid it's going to take a very large mallet to the head. All my attempts at reasoning have been ignored. @stevefaulkner

"Disruptive" in a technology context *should* mean to "disrupt with intent toward a better outcome for all." It's not just getting YOUR way.

@stevefaulkner @dylanbarrell That said, Dylan, you make *violent* sense in your points and I really hope resolution comes sooner than later.
@stevefaulkner @dylanbarrell HTML5 etc. have brought many +'s to our industry, but the ongoing social mayhem has become counterproductive.
@stevefaulkner @dylanbarrell That group took power without enough life experience. Do we not as an industry bear some responsibility?

@stevefaulkner @dylanbarrell This is what happens when you let children have their own way. No boundaries or social awareness later on.

@stevefaulkner @dylanbarrell I take it back. Now I'm just nauseated and sad as yet another sweet young soul turns into a controlling despot.

@dylanbarrell @stevefaulkner Consider my attention diverted to Dylan's digging...
Occurs to the Jewish Mama within me, @mattrobin140s, had I sons, the odds their names would be "Aaron and Ethan" is biblically overwhelming.

@mattrobin140s You're basically asking a Mom to choose which son she thinks is nicer, Aaron or Ethan. Like I can answer anything but: BOTH!

@RiverC An interesting read but context matters: People in current tech are very likely on the forward edge of intellectual evolution.
@RiverC I think someone from 1500 dropped down into the middle of Tokyo, Las Vegas or Times Square would lose control of ALL the sphincters.
@RiverC But what about someone from 2114?
I love the way this artwork was done - yes, predictable and campy - yet applied to today's tech, it just works! :-)
We are closer to year 2030 than to year 2000. By then, most of today's popular technology will seem antiquated.
