@toddlibby @vivaldibrowser and 8/10 is pretty impressive considering the browser really made its debut earlier this month :D

@toddlibby @vivaldibrowser I'm using it on Mac OS right now, and it's not lagging. Are you El Capitan, Todd, or? How many tabs/panels open?

@jwajsberg Agreed. Documentation is key, education is key. I don't want a single-engine world, that would be problematic IMO. Coordination.
Replying to @jwajsberg
@jwajsberg The main problem with that is then folks think it's Firefox's fault when it isn't. For a dev, it's deadly to not know browsers!

@jwajsberg And as for making those distinctions regarding support, there is need for far better educational bridges via schools, confs, etc.
Replying to @jwajsberg
@jwajsberg Yes, exactly why I said we've reached better and now can work on it. How that plays out will be anyone's guess! ;-)
@jwajsberg I don't disagree with your point, but I do feel we've reached a better time with a de facto common core and can improve upon it.

@alizardx NO doubt about it! I was very impressed with that article. Extremely passionate and well-sourced. How rare in today's journalism.

@jwajsberg Hahaha. I think of it as Blink containing legacy Webkit. Not the other way around. Maybe I'm just that optimistic? ;-)

@absalomedia Yes, very true. @vivaldibrowser isn't a "webkit" clone. It's more of a hybrid.
Replying to @jwajsberg
@jwajsberg Yes, and variants thereof. Vivaldi is based off Chrome so you do end up with a bit of legacy but the best of Blink, etc.

@brandon_mn Hey, I'm glad to hear that! It's the first browser I've ever used I've actually used because it's fun! @vivaldibrowser

A de facto "standards core" in #browser engines has helped. We've achieved that via open sourced engines. NOW is the time for competition.

It's so refreshing to be using a browser and looking at UI features and extensions, not core standards compliance! Thank you @vivaldibrowser

I'm using @vivaldibrowser in dark mode this morning (it's pre-dawn here) and it's even MORE awesome than the light UI.

@codepo8 If it were "10 best new recipes for winter" and "sex stories, read now!" would that have helped?
A very beautifully written article in Esquire suggests following the money to the source of terrorist funding: esquire.com/news-politics/po…
